Vampire facial

Vampire facial is a combination of microneedling and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Microneedling uses short, fine needles to puncture the skin. Rest assured, the needles feel like tiny pinpricks and only go skin-deep.

The pricks are used to penetrate the skin, prompting your skin to heal itself by producing elastin and collagen, and allowing the PRP to penetrate deeper.

When microneedling the PRP is applied to your skin topically. PRP can be delivered via different injectable methods and this can be discussed at your consultation. PRP is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein produced from blood. 

PRP has a large concentration of growth factors, helping tissue to heal and repair, treating all types of skin issues.

PRP therapy is something of a cure-all, helping to replace lost volume in the skin, fill crepey lines and reduce the appearance of stretch marks or scarring. It ensures skin looks its healthiest because it’s functioning at its healthiest due to the PRP application. PRP therapy applied to the face gives a youthful, glow whilst addressing skin issues like ageing, sun damage, pigmentation and scarring.

Treatment time 3 sessions over 3 months, maintenance session 2-4 times per year.
