What is a skin boosters treatment?

Skin boosters are a new excellent treatment to boost the skin and give a beautiful rejuvenated look. It acts as in internal moisturiser or skin booster to improve skin quality, texture, and appearance.

It is perfect for treating dull, tired-looking skin; fine line and wrinkles; and areas of skin damage, for example from acne or sun damage, without changing the shape of your face. Skin boosters do not act like dermal fillers.

What is Profhilo®?

Profhilo® is a hyaluronic acid (HA) injectable skincare. It is not thick like a dermal filler, but more fluid and assists in the rejuvenation of the skin’s architecture from the inside, over a course of 2 treatments. Profhilo® contains superlative quality HA and stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin. It helps to restore that bouncy and plump skin texture that is so synonymous with youth and vitality.

Profhilo® does not physically augment the skin like a dermal filler as it doesn’t sit innately under the skin to literally ‘plump’ it up, but integrates with the skin tissues to communicate with the cells for repair and revitalisation.

NCTF® 135HA

M-HA®10 is a visco-elastic solution aimed at restoring the loss of hyaluronic acid due to skin ageing. The skin booster is designed to improve the hydration, radiance and elasticity of the skin and to serve as a filling agent for small wrinkles such as crow’s feet, laughter lines or lines around the mouth caused by smoking. It works to improve the water barrier of the skin.

MHA18 is 18mg of pure, uncross linked HA with 20mg Glycerol.

MHA 18 is indicated for hydration of the skin. Particularly around the mouth to help reduce smokers lines and rehydrate the area. In the tear trough area, for patients desiring reduction is dark circles, without the ‘filling effect’.

How do Skin Boosters differ from Dermal Fillers?

HA Skin Boosters and HA Dermal Fillers whilst both containing HA as the main ingredient are not interchangeable when it comes to offering skin ageing treatments as they behave in different ways.

HA Skin Boosters are not cross-linked so are usually much thinner in consistency and therefore have a greater spread. Generally, skin boosters can be used to soften fines lines, hydrate, improve the texture and condition of the skin. HA Fillers are generally used when volumising, contouring, augmentation is required in specific areas of the face such as cheeks or lips.
